صورةُ الجسم وعلاقتها بتقدير الذات والشكاوى الجسمية لدى عينة من راقصي الباليه من الجنسين The Relationship between Body-image, self-esteem and somatic complaints for a sample of Ballet Dancers of both genders

تهدف الدراسة الراهنة إلى التعرف على طبيعة العلاقة بين صورة الجسم، وتقدير الذات، والشكاوى الجسمية لدى عينة من راقصي الباليه من الجنسين، وكذلك التعرف على الفروق بين الجنسين في صورة الجسم وتقدير الذات والشكاوى الجسمية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (42) من راقصي الباليه، بمتوسط عمري (26) سنة، وانحراف معياري (3.70) سنة. وتمثلت في (22) من الإناث، بمتوسط عمري (25)، وانحراف معياري (3.81) سنة، و(20) من الذكور بمتوسط عمري (27.10)، وانحراف معياري (3.32). وطُبِّقَ مقياس صورة الجسم إعداد: الباحث، ومقياس تقدير الذات إعداد:أحمد عبد الخالق، ومقياس الشكاوى الجسمية "مقياس فرعي من مقياس وصف الشخصية" إعداد: ليزي موري. وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة جوهرية بين صورة الجسم عامةً،وتقدير الذات، فكلما تزايد تقدير راقص وراقصة الباليه لذاتهما، اتسمت صورته لجسمه بالإيجابية. كما أسفرت نتائج معاملات الارتباط عن وجود ارتباط سلبي جوهري بين صورة الجسم والشكاوى الجسمية، وفيما يتعلق بالفروق بين راقصي وراقصات الباليه. لم تكشف الدراسة عن فروق دالة بين الجنسين في متغيرات الدراسة،كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق جوهرية بين كلٍّ من ذوي الصورة الإيجابية والسلبية لصورة الجسم، في كلٍّ من تقدير الذات والشكاوى الجسمية لدى عينة الراقصين. بينما انتفت الفروق بين ذوي الصورة الإيجابية والسلبية لصورة الجسم في الشكاوى الجسمية لدى الراقصات، في حين كانت هناك فروق جوهرية بينهم في تقدير الذات.
The aim of the current study is to examine the relationship between body-image, self-esteem and somatic complaints for a sample population of ballet dancers of both genders (male\ female). Furthermore, identify the differences between both genders regarding body-image, self-esteem and somatic complaints.  The population of the study sample is composed of (42) Ballet dancers with average age of (26) and standard deviation of (3.70) years. The sample is composed of (22) females with average age of (25) years and standard deviation of (3.81) years, and (20) males with average age of (27.10) years and standard deviation of (3.32). A body-image test, prepared by the researcher, was applied, and a self-esteem test prepared by\ Ahmed Abd-El-Khalek in addition to the somatic complaints test as a marginal test of the personality description test prepared by Lizzy Murray. The results showed that there is a positive radical associative relationship between body image in general and self-esteem. In um ; the more a Ballet dancer appreciates himself, the more positive his image for his body will be positive too.
The results for the correlation coefficient showed that there is negative radical correlation between the body image and the somatic complaints. With regards to the differences between male\ female Ballet dancers, the results of the study showed no significant differences between both genders in the alternatives of the study. The results also showed radical differences between those who have negative body image and those who have negative body image with regards to self-esteem and somatic complaints with the dancers sample. However, there are no differences between the female Ballet dancers who have negative body image from those who have positive one. Meanwhile, the main differences between them were in self-esteem.
