فحص الأداء على مهمة معرفية اعتمادًا على برنامجي E-Prime وOpensesame: دراسة منهجية Investigation of A Cognitive Task Performance Based on E-Prime and Opensesame Programs: A Methodological Study

هدف البحث الحالي إلى التحقق من مدى الاختلاف بين برنامجي E-Prime وOpensesame في تصميم إحدى المهام المعرفية وفحصها. وفي هذه الدراسة تم استخدام مهمة البحث البصري كمثال على مهمة معرفية، حيث تم تصميم هذه المهمة ببرنامج E-Prime وبرنامج Opensesame، وبالتالي أصبح لدينا نسختان من تجربة البحث البصري. تم إجراء الدراسة على عينة مكونة من (80) من طلاب الجامعة (36) من الذكور و(44) من الإناث. حيث تم تصميم مهمة البحث البصري، وأتبع ذلك التحقق من الخصائص السيكومترية لها بناء على دراسة استطلاعية أجريت مسبقًا. وأشارت النتائج النهائية لهذه الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة بين نتائج العينة (سواء الذكور أو الإناث) على مهمة البحث البصري المصممة ببرنامج E-Prime والمصممة ببرنامج Opensesame، بل كان هناك اتساق كبير بين أداء المشاركين على كلا البرنامجين، وهو ما يعطي ثقة كبيرة للباحثين في إمكانية استخدام برنامج Opensesame في تصميم المهام بالدراسات التجريبية.
The current research aimed to investigate the difference between E-Prime and Opensesame programs in designing and examining a cognitive task. In this study, the visual search task was used as an example of a cognitive task, as this task was designed with E-Prime and Opensesame software, and thus we have two versions of the visual search experiment. The study was conducted on a sample of (80) university students; (36) males and (44) females. The visual search task was designed, followed by the verification of its psychometric properties based on a previously conducted exploratory study. Finally, results indicated that there were no significant differences between the performance of the sample (whether males or females) on the visual search task designed with the E-Prime program and designed with the Opensesame program. Rather, there was great consistency between the performance of the participants on both programs, which gives great confidence to the researchers for using Opensesame software in designing tasks in experimental studies.
